Altreonic NV is a spin-off company focusing on safety and systems engineering, based on a unique yet straightforward approach. 1. Embedded software engineer

Your Responsibilities
  • Research and develop advanced techniques for hard real-time and distributed embedded programming
  • Maintain and extend VirtuosoNext
  • Porting to new hardware
  • Developing board level drivers.
Your profile:
  • Academic level (minimum is BSc/MSc or equivalent by experience).
  • Solid experience in programming in C/C++ and assembly
  • System thinker with sound electronic, communications or computer science engineering background.
  • Experience in solving embedded systems challenges (e.g. thesis work).
  • Creative and lateral thinker, interested in innovation as well as in practical results.
  • Team player who can function in a multicultural environment.
  • Good social and communication skills.
  • Self propelled, with a proactive attitude and own initiative.
  • Customer and business focused.
Your preferred skills:
  • Proficient in written as well as spoken technical English.
  • Some experience with programming in HLL (Ada, SPARK, Phyton, ...).
  • Some experience with internet programming.
  • Knowledge of the application of formal methods to hybrid systems
  • Developing hardware at schematic block level.
